Stroll taken not long ago

Midnight moon reflecting off the oceanís wave tops

Warm ocean water rolling over our bare feet

Strolling slowly to feel each grain of sand so moist and soft beneath

Together hands held tight, as eyes take neither out of their sight

Stopping to listen to the oceanís sweet melody of rolling waves

Soft whispers to each other of our love today

Taking her small soft hand holding it tender in mine

My soft lips her hand now feels

Kisses so special sending a thrill

Looking behind we see our foot paths washed away

Eyes making contact and saying the same

The ocean canít remove the foot paths we made this day

The ocean has always meant so much to me for this very reason.....the mystery and awe of life create footprints permanently etched. Sweeping picture and stunning words come together to form another poem of beauty. Well done my dear friend, well done indeed.

Tommy, first of all I had to get past the image, which I admit to just staring at for a long period of time. It's gorgeous. Then I started reading your poem that spoke directly to the heart. Putting them together is unmistakably an awesome display.
Absolutely remarkable work.

Tommy, the closing just knocked me right out of the chair!!!Ö If only couples would remember those wonderful moments in a relationship, it may help keep it alive, especially during the times they start questioning whether or not they were meant to be together in the first place!!!Ö Exceptional poetry pours from your quill, Poet!!!Ö Well-done!!!
