Begin in mountain pose the Yoga master says
Breathe in deep and then release is followed in its stead
Upward facing dog my dear gaze up onto the stars
Seems to be the way I have begun my day thus far
One more cup of coffee then off to write I go
Trying to hold onto the morning’s awesome glow
Mind drifts in and thoughts fly out the muse peek’s his whimsical head
But still my mind goes drifting back to what the Yoga master said
Based on Sun Salutation that wakens my mind and soul
Somewhere based in this ancient form my thought form seems to go
So sit in meditation with a tunnel set before my mind
Searching back to morning I’ve got Vinyasa on my mind
Drifting back too…
