DESOLATION Outpost
by Terry Vinson

A remote, snowed-in rehab facility for superheroes gone bad. A fiery plane crash. A deadly, bloodthirsty entity on a single-minded mission of mass slaughter. Welcome to T..

when you put your arms around me
or hold my hand,
I can feel your love --

and when you look into my eyes,
or smile my way,
I can see your love --

but through time and distance
three little words
let me hear your love --

and the gaps in between
are melted miles
as words
float, linger --
dance
like butterfly wings
gently fluttering within
