The people of today
The world is corrupt, the world is lost
They must have forgot, who died for them on the cross
I know not to judge, but everything sacred is forgotten
We all start out fresh, but some of us turn rotten
We walk around random, we walk around blind
Read the Bible, it’s the only way to open your mind
Whether your are ready, your time will come
In his book, your name he will thumb
Everything you done, everything you’ve said, has been recorded
He will decide, whether or not, you will be awarded
The most precious gift, never to be taken away
In his kingdom, there you will stay
There is no rich, there is no middle class, there is no poor
Read the Bible, open up the door, you’ll be saved, I’m sure
His words are great, his words are steadfast, and his words are true
If you follow his word, the gates of heaven, come on through
