People fear what they do not understand. Especially when it is a person who does not conform to their narrow and rigid ideologies.

Nobody sees what I am doing
Am I a secret psychopath?
Whoís just waiting for the moment
To unleash his secret wrath?
Or am I just a man thatís chosen
To follow a different path?
That leads to a secret garden
Where I enjoy a fragrant bath

Iím not allowed to have opinions
That differ from the faceless mob
To find pleasure in the quiet
Or satisfaction with my job
I must want more than base contentment
If I donít, myself I rob
The cacophony of their voices
Drowns out my wearied sob

Iím not long in melancholy
For I live in a secret land
Where happiness is no real secret
Itís in the palm of every hand
Just follow where YOUR path will lead
The destinationís truly grand
When you arrive youíll find contentment
My secret you now understand
