One of the Street cats I asked about Crime on the Streets, said he'd rather get a 'Beatdown'from a Cop for somthing,''Not just for the hell of it.''Like what I said, after he 'Hit a Lick'(came off on a Score)The same guy that I asked how he felt about If we should go to War,3days after I was injured at 9/11.He said 'They Never called me Nigger(not nigga or nigah)the opposite meaning of The word.I said if you want to Quote Muhammad Ali do so correctly. Not to mention it was a different set of Dynamics. He's about6'4' 290 or so,so when he looked down at me,Head Cocked with a sarcastic 'Oh really type look I figured it was time to stop talking.

Don’t intend on going back to Prison

my blood wont christen thirsty concrete

better listen

street bizzin

cold violent

respect is whas missin...

lead kissin my enemy’s

better than me!

cant see

light a day

locked away.

fantasy’s gone

wealth furlong

Long arm

wanna stomp my first born.

Black bones a charm chain

around their necks

Turn around

spun around,

beat down

from ground to court

whas the Beef

po-lice ?

beat down in front of ya kids

steady diet of Lies

an Race.

The more we succeed

The more they take

more they make us pay

Anybody with a Dark face.

Youth robs ignorance of Lost history

German Shepard’s Tearing American Flesh

Fire hoses Sprayed

Black blood screamed we will over come oneday!

As Latinos had no Identity.

I gotta eat!

Don’t give a Fuck what U think

of me.

Projects raised me

The streets enslaved me

No 9to 5 can tame me.

I’m a street playa

From way back ‘’Jack’’

I pay my way

To equalize a unequalized

Class an grim cant stand together

Hunger an Crime is Stormy Weather

Pretend not to stand each other

unless its done undercover

or undertaker result of a Blackface

no faker

Like blood for oil

But I’m a street playa

From way back ”Jack’’

Jus a Taker.

I last in all kind of weather

From stormy Monday

to get paid on Sunday

Sellin cheap wine Ballerinas

to the street.

Sleepin on rooftops

 with Junkies an Thieves .

 From cash register

to slip a note to a teller

drug seller

check cash embezzler

cool stepper

The best fly seller

of anything and everything

new or used

rob ya money when ya drunk out ya shoes.

A playa's  Playa

 old school

 new school

 me meaner than Taliban

when dem light a  new fuse.

better lessons

taught by street dues

Hard Knocks you feel Dem True.

better lesson

Not by incarceration

or when cops shoot at you

or when Nas mix Hip Hop an Blues

 ya locked down

spun around from the court to the ground

Po-lice beat you down in front of ya kids

Once again the circle of hate begins..

One only has to view within the daily news of CNN or the print of paper news, to find the same repetition of a cycle that continues even is within the poetic articles of today, the feel of Hate is all around us and this is not just the confines of Our country of crosses the globe and crosses color...a mind embedded with hate is one that is lost within the Real World...

nice work on this expression through poetry...

love and peace, Art Sun...
