Saying Good Bye

how we always seem to rush through life.
Playing at racing
thru the day
what does it all mean
if we stop
we might recognize
that things aren't as they seem
pushing hard to get it all
to rush from work
to dinner to chores to bed
to start it all again
it makes me want to slow it all down
and enjoy each moment i missed
little things the kids go thru
and moments with my friends
I want to share it all with them
it's hard to know what to do
balence is the key, I know
simplicity the clue.
Juggling life is hard enough
with out having the blues.

|"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around, you could miss it." (Ferris Bueller's Day Off). There are only 23 hours, 59 minutes, 58 seconds in a day. We need at least twice that number to do what needs to be done. Thanx for sharing, Michelle.
May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

|Isn't it hard to make time for oneself and the family? So very true. We need to "Stop, Listen, Reflect" as I say in one of my poems. Great thought. Denise|

|Balance is the key, but one too often hard to grasp. A lot of emotion in this piece. Good work.|

Lovely pic to go with the work.
