Come live with me, and be my love,
And we will some new pleasures prove
Of golden sands, and crystal brooks,
With silken lines, and silver hooks.

John Donne (1572?–1631)

Let Slip a Silent Tear

My heart heavy with emotion
All I needed was your reassurance
In a moment of fragility
I let slip a silent tear
Your closeness and perception
Let you hear it, before it splashed
Within your arms you held me
Tenderly comforted the pain I felt
With loving and encouraging words
Urging that I my fears dispel
Invisible walls that surround me
Impenetrable, I thought they were!
Began to slowly wear and crumble
As your voice danced slowly
With my every emotion
I felt your fervour infiltrate through me
Turn the key, unlock…
And enter lovingly into my heart

OMG Ingigo this is both unique and familiar all at once. The graphic is perfect the topic reaches out and grips the reader and it is as always wonderfully expressed and poignant.

Dear Indigo,
This is beautiful!! I especially love:
'Urging that I my fears dispel
Invisible walls that surround me
Impenetrable, I thought they were!'
It is ultimately us that dispels our self-created fears. Well done!
Love Suzie xox :-)
