No coward soul is mine,
No trembler in the world's storm-troubled sphere:
I see Heaven's glories shine,
And faith shines equal, arming me from fear.

Emily Brontë (1818–1848)

 The Tears that didn’t…

What feelings are these that swirl within?
Is it anger or disappointment that begins to brim?
Dressed up and made up and now nowhere to go
Hurting inside but my pain I won’t show!
I would sooner end it, than expose the hurt
Walk away quietly and not remain inert
Too often I’ve sat on the edge holding hope
This time I won’t, because I know I can cope
I’ve been battered and bruised within this heart of mine
No more will I sit just towing the line
You want and desire, and say you need me
You want me close to taste and feel me
The door is open, just step inside
Do you stand in the doorway, you decide!
Tired of arrangements that seem to fail
Best made plans that don’t prevail
When you feel you’re apt and ready to seize the dawn
May your future not hand you; all but hope forlorn!

All down-pour is weather bound. Can be predicted. but when our eyes start raining, it is quite different. The soul's weather is not easy to forecast. But then God has made a way for emotions to turn into water and go down while giving a flowing and soothing effect on our face. Very nice and powerful Elga...

Sometimes, tears gather so quickly and abundantly that the gates cannot be opened to let them out until some later time, once the storm has passed.
