Do you know your Father? The Father who wants to love you for all of eternity?

Father’s Day
How do I measure the love of my Father?
In what way may I speak my heart?
By what means may His grace be measured?
Should I find the words, how could I start? …
My Father gave me life with freedom to choose
Between light and dark, right and wrong.
And when I chose dark, He kept me close.
And when I did wrong, He led me with Psalms songs.
If my spirit became crippled by the world
He helped me rise, through His loving grace.
If I was blinded and turned from His word,
He offered me sight, a way to view His face.
When the world crushed me with pain,
Stole all hope, leaving only death,
He lift off the weight, allowing me to breathe again
He filled me with life eternal through His dying breath.
How do I measure the love of my Father? …
How long are the nails that tore His flesh?
By what means may His grace be measured? …
Can you count the lives filled by His blood… or even guess?
I measure my Father’s love by the grace received.
I measure His grace by the most distant star’s light.
Through my faith I am held in the glory beyond belief;
Immeasurable love, beauty and patience beyond all sight.
I know each day as Your day, Father.
I glorify You with my love, offering praise;
Holy, holy, holy is my Father, my God ever so near.

I forgot I do have a living Father to celebrate with this Father's Day. Thanks for the reminder. I thought I'd be lost without anyone this Father's Day but I always have my heavenly Father close by my side. A great spiritual write. Thanks***********
