GRACE
Gossamer strands…
Lace and love merge,
Float down upon the world.
Grace falls, soft, gentle,
Swaying in His breath;
Floating upon the ages;
Floating upon the soul;
Emerged in God’s light…
Gentle, unseen by the world
Grace …
Grace of love and peace…
Pain free.
Released by the hands
Open to his children’s hearts…
Falling upon the found souls,
Resting upon the weary heart.
Gossamer strands…
Lace and love merged,
Brings a Son,
Brings a cross,
Brings a stone removed…
Gentle whispers gather
Among the lacey feathers
Speaking of hope and promise,
Of mercy beyond all peace…
Touching souls;
Absorbing sins…
Shelters with love,
And words…
Gossamer strands,
Fine and soft as
Silken lace,
Sway gently upon us…
As we look to our Lord
In love…
In peace…
In faith.
