for my daughter~with love~Carly

I wonder love
no longer in life,
an empty creek
wanting water.
Clouds with secrets
and hidden eyes
see both sides
of this earth.
The violet and
The bud.
The frail human
The gods so strong
The Angel
wandering alone~~

Hey, I like this poem. Are you a relative of George Herbert the English poet?
Reviewed by Aberjhani 6/11/2006
Quietly: wow. Lines like a waterfall of beauty that cascade over the very high regards and affection for your daughter, so clearly blessed to have such a poet for a father.

Wistful as well as profoundly beautiful, Martin. Leaves me with an ache undefined as if there's a memory I can't or won't conjur to avoid pain...

Incredibly beautiful photo and loving verse - gifts shared by father and daughter. I especially enjoyed the image of Clouds with secrets.
Sweet sharing, peace.

a gift to your daughter, but is she anywhere near ready for the likes of this?

I've run across many angels who take this path. I've lived among them and I've felt their yearnings as well. Your verse is impeccable longing to be back in the fold of your comfort zone. Nature is a heaven that we make our haven if we're smart.

My friend...you are special.
