" Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a    field.... I will meet you there.”

I am feeling good about myself, as I face another day

everything is just about right, in my amazing technicolor world

as I swing down the street, past the eye catching, blue hydrangeas

hosts of golden hosta, visually decorating my path

my stride is purposeful, as I walk in a natural and unhurried rhythm

breathing in the fresh oxygen, from the overhanging sycamores

I spy a tabby cat, arching its shoulders with marvellous precision

teaching me that suppleness and litheness, keeps the engine well oiled

and that effortless grace, carries me from one dimension to another

while the vibes and chords of love, strike a melodious and harmonious note

for I know from within myself, I will always adore you

as you are the one, that holds the key to my heart

because the hustle of life, can often blur all our perceptions

so keep it straight and simple, if you get my drift

and want to make that special connection with me

I am a common man of the people, with an uncommon disposition

my name always goes before me, while my spirit confronts the world

I'll never need anything from you, for I've got all I need inside

and sticks and stones, will never break my bones

for its all just water, under the bridge with me

and I learned all my tricks, in the school of hard knocks

where the master teaches the ego must be conquered

to be able to take up permanent residence

with that entity called infinite intelligence

Well, Peter, if you didn't just kick all the barriers out of the way and move on to the place where you found the unobstructed view of life, there has never been anyone who has. I love the quote from Rumi; it is the perfect prelude to this insightful and purposeful poem. Great message, exceptional write.
Take care,
