“We have within ourselves
Enough to fill the present day with joy,
And overspread the future years with hope.”

William Wordsworth

.................................................................

Come on aboard

I am just waiting for you

you know I am the one

that can make you complete

as the stars drift across the night sky

so you will merge totally with me

on a voyage of endless possibilities

where the prairie grass remains green

and the soft awakening of dawn

steals across your gentle heart

like the blue heron on its flight

we will sail to distant shores

where moonbeams are our cover

and the dancing surf ripples the shore

I will bring you eternal happiness

as we walk hand in hand

and listen to the lilt of God's music

playing deep within our hearts

our love is immaculate and pure

formed in the chrysalis of time

we will paint the perfect picture

on the open canvas of our lives

Sir Peter ...

Who could ever resist an invitation as such. And that watershed ... most assuredly a place that Michele and I would love to explore. It reminds me of terrain in north Prescott Arizona.

Your use of simile in the lines:

"steals across your gentle heart
like the blue heron on its flight"

Was resplendent. So few words - such a magnificent canvas you paint of a loving heart at peace with his life. This was exceptional!

Thankyou ...
