You are the only person on earth who can use your ability "

Zig Zaglar

I listened intently, as he waxed with grace

marking my crosses, and ticking my boxes

you have learned well, my friend and companion

for the road is long, and full of bends

don't press the pedal, too hard or fast

relax in full measure, with imperturbable poise

see those fools go, with reckless haste

destroying our planet, with obscene disgrace

unwilling to learn, since they first took their place

grovelling like snakes, with their belly unfazed

you are different, for your name is supreme

written with deliberation, by the great unseen hand

many are those, who come and go

passing through, like frost on the glass

for you must remember, your special remit

known only to you, since the day of your birth

and share not thy secrets, with a living soul

as the vessel that fills, empties in time

take hold of your valour, in the throes of battle

knowing you are inconquerable, with the knowledge you hold

and as I take my leave of you, remind yourself religiously

the inner man within you, continues to grow

Peter the Expositor ...

The Creator christens all men with a gift and a responsibility to pursue that gift for His glory. So many fail here.

I have observed, in the six months now that I have been affiliated with AD, that you have become more outspoken and brave with the expressions of your faith.

Of course this is only my opinion. But I should tell you that I am comforted by these expressions.

Light and Wisdom ...

Like Gandalf speaking to Frodo or Bilbo at some stage... Love the intimacy of this poem, Peter... and the respect and faith that is shown to the up-coming tutee, too. Instills a "can-do" spirit which is the fundament of all learning - together with the ignition of the spark of wonder and enthusiasm which will steer it. You give us here an insight into a Master Teacher at work, bringing light, wisdom and grace into the life of a cherished pupil. Lovely work! TY K xx

In God we are being renewed daily and grow in the spirit. This soliloquy had me reading in the manner of Shakespeare. Yes Peter, we are born with a foreordained, divinely imputed script that only God knows about. He knows those who accept and reject Him.
I often stand out in the back garden at night when it is dark (I'm a late bedder) and silent and enter into audible dialogue with God. It is usually of the self punishing variety to begin with. By the time I finish, I accept that God accepted me as I am and not what I think I should be.
As ever, reflective work that compells the reader to do likewise.
