Love is the gift of joy and coming home to a lovers heart.

Lay me down in sweet green meadows,

dance with me in the leafy glen

crown my hair with circlets of roses

help me remember when...

Dance with me in soft moonlight,

Singing your magic song,

Fill me with love's innocence lost

Shelter me in your warriors heart

From the demons who haunt my mind

Gift me with bright yellow daisies,

a warm hearth and your loving face

Your body next to mine at night...

simple things that hold such grace.

I'll sing love's song, crowned with stars

and let you see my heart,

Whisper the pain and shame away

til only the two of us remain.

No shadows to haunt or stain us

where only truth exists

and love deepens in the warm sunlight

and our ancient troth renewed.

Lay me down in sweet meadow grasses

Let me feel your love

Hold me in your warriors soul

Until the end of time

And when my life is over

Carry me to the sea,

Watch me dance the billowing waves

Knowing I'll wait beyond times gates

For you to come to me.
