Slow down my child, you are moving too fast.
Not only will you skin your knee,
You will break your heart.
Slow down and touch life a while longer.
Hold it tight to your breast
While you get lost in the scents.
For tomorrow will pass and yesterday
will seem like eternity.
Make today the passion you live for.
You will never be sorry my child,
That you took time, not to exist,
but to live.
