| I do so love those advent calendars for years since my girls were so small. The children look forward to counting down the days and getting that sweet choc treat each day. It is amazing you write about it here and let us know a way to entertain the children early Dec til the day. |

Great idea, beautifully wrapped!! The love you put in will not
be forgotten. Thank you for reminding me why I spend so much time
covering myself and everything around me with paint and glitter and cut-outs from cards. I am a bad wrapper. I admit it. The ends of the packages I wrap are lumpy, my bows cattywampus. But it really is the thought that counts. . .right? Thank you for this delightful
and highly creative offering, Regina. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that the new year fulfills your wildest hopes. 'Pea' Wearing Bells and Pointy, Polka-dotted Hat, and Raising a Glass of Diet Pepsi == CHEERS!! |

Seet idea Gina - and very well explained. However, I must admit I did not try it out !! Not gifted enough or simply too lazy.
Sorry for having been so silent lately - too many things going on at the same time. I hardly ever find the time to sit and read, not to speak of writing myself.
Just wanted to wish you a wonderful Christmas and all the best for the New Year 2007.
Love

You know what, Regina? Just HAPPENED to see your name pop up in the featured poets, and I clicked on it, because, well, frankly, the surname "Pounds" fascinates me. It is a good thing I DID drop by.
I have taken a look at a couple of your poems so far, this one and your "contest" one. And what I see charms me to no end.
You definitely have the knack. You fascinate me.
I am a very, very serious-minded poet and author, E-Zine editor (3 poetry e-zines), book publisher etc., and I generally do not go too far amiss in my intuitive "take" on new poets I encounter.
I warmly invite you to visit my Author's Den (while it is still up) and to check out some of my own poetry. I should very much like to communicate with you on professional matters and literary co-operation in the near future, as it appears you will have a lot to offer our growing international family of poets from at least 10 nations.
When you select my AD, select the FIRST "Richard Vallance", not the second, as the second AD is my "old" den and there is nothing in it to speak of.
I shall now go on to take a gander at some of your other poems.
Great to meet you.
Bye for now,
Richard Vallance,
