Just passing through so I thought I'd leave a pen and comment on some friends pens. Happy Easter all.

The Spell of Terpsichore

As I engulf the site of a waning moon

waltzing with the mist from a river warm

the two become one in unison

casting a spell upon my mind

as memories fall from mind’s own rafters

like the dew that drips sweetly from moisten leaves

landing soft upon natures emerald bed

a rhythm reflecting this beating heart

giving birth to thoughts of contentment

Sounds of nature create an orchestra

the maestro goes unknown

adding depth to mind’s discovery

each note a place in time

every chord a heartfelt sigh

play on my earthly inhabitants

carry me away on waves of sound

lay me down upon pleasured moments

let euphoria invade my soul

Oh what a spell you’ve cast on me

giving freedom from life’s confines

breaking chains of obligation

creating avenues of escape

setting free my inner being

feet running for fun not fear

laughter escaping without notice

wind whistling past my ears

alas tiredness overcomes me

Bed me down with a final lullaby

soothe me into a restful sleep

soon the sun will be on the horizon

birthing reality with its warming rays

concerns and discerns will come alive

worry and hurry will be the course

others needs above my own

I thank you for this evening

and the pleasures you have shown
