Entangled Dream

Please sleep will you fall upon me

give reality nevermore

take me on wings to another day

and a dream on some distant shore

Was after the hour of midnight

wine shared from each others hands

eyes drifting inside hypnotic stares

hearts beating as emotion expands

Kisses soft upon skin of pearls

breath rushed past silken ears

time vanishes for the moment

all reserves just disappear.

Soft navel becomes a wine glass

as giggles fill the air

a waltz at first with tethered tongues

becomes a dance of abandoned care

Fingers glide over fields of pleasure

soft bites placed on desiring lips

moans fill the nightly air

cloth remaining torn in strips

Limbs become vines of entanglement

locked in a pythonic embrace

bodies glisten from rapture’s moisture

tears drip softly from eyes to face

Two as one we indulge our souls

till neither can take much more

I am you as you are me

and the night time hears our roar

Nails cut like burning swords

digging deep into pleasured skin

final heights and peaks are reached

as hot moisture is ladled therein

Now you’re lying warm beside me

the moonlight gathers your steam

so sad it is that at this point

I must awaken from this dream

I worry not if reality comes

I’ll not feel a single regret

this memory is just a favorite

of the night when we first met

Wonderful lustful poetry, Phillip. Each verse upped the situation, as it does in real time. At the end I was almost breathing hard.
