Duality

The tide
Ebbs and flows

The face
Aglow; then frowns

The heart
All love, and then breaks

The mind
Changes as fast as heart rate

Strong opinions
Are best to flee
If we wish to find harmony

The cat
She purrs
And spurs fear away

The dog
Invokes strokes
And incites tit bits all day

Life is dual
Right or wrong
Fuel to inspire or disrupt song

May life be lived?
Aware of this
And despite it all;
Might peace be established within our present amiss…?

Questioning ourselves, our surface, our opinions and then delving deeper, in search for lasting, peaceful truth. These are my feelings when reading your inspirational piece, so easy to relate to.

Greetings,

Lovely musing, Suzie- girl!

For me, I say, life is LIVED...in the Balance.

But always keep praying, for the scales to tip, in favor of PEACE.

God bless you, Beautiful Suzie-Q! love & hugs, Rhonda

A thought-provoking meditation on the lines that too often divide and conquer our lives. Enjoyed the read very much.

Hi Suzie:

It is always nice to hear from you folks downunder. We visited your fine land a decade ago and enjoyed every minute -- including the time that our tour buss forgot to drop us off at our hotel until we were the last ones aboard. C'est la vie.

Suzie

You just keep hoping and praying for peace, as fervently and passionately as you do...
And we will get peace I assure you...;)

Very hard to have one without the other in this world Suzie! We must always seek peace and pray we get it, but know also that we are too divided the world over ,so that war is always waiting in the wings. Excellent poem!

I pray for peace every day. One day perhaps we will realize harmony. I wish to see this in my lifetime for the peace of my grandchildren. Thank you for a beautiful poem.
