When to our hearts we donít listen
Take no signal, nor no heed

When in the mind
We say everythingís fine
Thinking that it is
Because the other is so similar
Our roots sing of All That Is

The intricate truth
Is not so clear
For all of us living here
Weíre mixed and mashed
Sometimes clash
Our motivations of good quite easily dash

Itís no wonder
Emotions go asunder
The human mind can often slumber
The deepest wonder
In our hearts
Our souls
Rediscover ...

It is incumbent upon us to be all that we can be, in this existence..
And that can entail rediscovering our roots and essence..
How so very true my dear friend

Suzie, i do think we approach life with "best intentions", but often let our imaginations get in the way allowing things to becoam grossly overblown, even to the point of deceiving and deluding ourselves. But if we can just get beyond that, allow ourselves to step back for a minute and learn, we do open our souls to rediscovery. So much truth in your words...thanks for reminding me!

Ah, so true. Emotions have a way of tricking you into a lot of things. Very nicely written.

Beautiful musings that reflect the sincerity and truth that resides in you. This one says so much about love and loving and the desire to be all that one can be.

Something to remember, when our sails are puffed with deception, we run into storms so bad we lose all hope of the signals and sharks ram the boat to pieces. It's much easier to exist wholly than fragmented. Ask the people who are thriving what their secret is. You stay around to monitor the recovery, Suzie...
