Pic taken Sept. '09

There's a chill wind from the mountains
blowing white with winter's glory
through a lush green valley
onto the water's edge

Along the shore a battle rages
blue in swirling currents
as the sunlight warms
our bare feet in the sand

There are no changing seasons
in life's multi-coloured pallette
or the beauty of a rainbow
formed with open arms

Roger, I couldn't agree more. The really amazing thing is that he writes his poetry in minutes when inspiration hits and rarely if ever edits his work.

Eddy, you have raw talent and are the most creative person I've ever of the many reasons why I fell in love with you. I am fortunate to know you and even more to be loved by you.

I find this poem worthy of much more than a single reading because to me, there's much deeper meaning than it seems at first. Thank you for sharing, Edwin. Love and peace to you,
