Rebirth and reincarnation test us to the max especially when we discover ego...

Lingering

The wheel turns down the

Dusty memories

Going back through timeless,

Waste -

Gentle is the silence,

Which blows

Through the crevices

Exposing, the lonely places -

That nobody shares.

The domain of shades,

 Compelling

In its reality,

Rich with dispassion

The wheel continues on its

Habitual track.

Tracing its journey not forgetting,

A single fact -

Remorse whips it fingers –

Eating the flesh as

Blood seeps through the burning ego

Consuming the pride that,

Carelessly lingers

Hoping for another trip.

I really like these lines and the images they evoke. Your poem effectively conveys the human struggle toward growth/development/enlightenment - coming to grips with our "human-ness" while nurturing our spirit whose made its home in flesh and bone.
