While not a new writing, still one I dedicate to those who have to be separated from the one they love
|
My thoughts of you are confused.
My memories are many,
of love,
of anger,
of reconciliation.
The way you look asleep,
the lines of concern,
smoothed.
The muscles of your face,
relaxed.
The beauty of it makes me
want to take you in my arms
and love you.
But I am here,
and you are there.
Many miles seperate our physical entities.
But I reach for you,
and you for me
and we know the comfort
of minds entertwined in a single desire.
To touch,
and be touched.
To feel the warmth of love between us.
The time grows near when we will once more
be together.
The time will come when this,
will be a bad and fleeting dream.
Let us live for that time,
when I can speak these things to you
in our special way.
I love,
and miss you darling.
