Silent conflict
|
The game begins,
each move planned,
each risk calculated,
coordinated to fit the plan.
Each side gives,
and takes,
and tries to win.
Men are lost,
regained,
and go on fighting,
in bloodless combat.
A silent battle,
no guns,
or bombs,
or clarion call.
Silence,
one move,
then another.
Two minds meet,
embrace in combat,
and go their seperate ways.
Each victorious.
