As the midnight hour approaches

Once more I brave my mind

To sleep I hope to dream

If  my sub deems to be kind

When dreams turn to nightmares

Of twisted mind and evil sin

When the devil come to torture

Will Lucifer or God win

Will the bride of Satan find me

Repay me for the lust of man

Can the angels somehow intervene

Please tell me if you can…

Can dreams from the subconcious be sin? Oh don't think so sweet man. Just emotion wrestling with our logic and memory. But yes, angels of mercy can help put the demons to rest I think. Grand foreplay between good/evil...

Maybe you should put on a pot of strong coffee. :) If that doesn't work trying walking the floor, but whatever you do, keep that woman far from thought. ;) lol... I love this verse you conjured up.

You have plenty of angels Fee. Your heart is golden and your compassion faultless. The man who I see is a gem with many facets. I really like this one too .You have quite a pallet for the ladies too.

Call on down those Angels, Felix... they will win every time!! They roll in like a mighty refreshing, cleansing ocean to kill the deadly fire when the heat's on. Lust can get out of control, I guess, but I think we focus on it too much, perhaps, as something that separates us from "godliness". God is passionate, creates all our passions in the natural sense and, if you get to feelin too bad... think of King David who God Himself describes as "a man after my own heart"... well, he messed up big time with Bathsheba, I guess - murder as well as the rest - but he was ultimately acquitted. You are a Big-Feelings man, Felix, and have great capacity for conscience: whether it shows up light or darkness, you are honest and true to it... a man after God's own heart, I'd say! :))

Sorry, I am trying hard atdemo not to get too much into "reply" mode as to how a poem affects me personally, but, in this instance, guess I am, as usual, carried away by my heart and enthusiasm. Your poetry is growing so much in depth, Pops. Good stuff! LOL K xx
