Just feeling an old ache revisited...

A Passionate Ache

By: Felix L. Perry

Just an ache that…

Starts as insecurity

Spreads from heart

To a lump in throat

Moves on to eyes

Clouds the brain

Dead stop

Paralysis of thought

Alone, empty, adrift

Sadness, hurt, fear

Anger, confusion…ache

Hi Fee:

I hope you will feel better soon. Sometimes, having a good cry might help to ease the pain of loss and emptiness as well.

Take care.

Hi Fee, an old ache revisited, indeed, for many as we read this... some of us still adrift... you always write with such clarity, even amidst the ache... they say, "this too shall pass" but they never said it would come back... who are they, anyways?
