Just a line I heard and wrote around...

We’ll Write The Lines

By: Fee

Let the velvet curtains rise on a Northern day

Like two skilled actors in this romantic play

Words defy the cruel price for the role we’ll pay

For in reality true love’s fair words we cannot say

Ah but in deep liquid pools of bedroom eyes

We float suspended on a raft of contented sighs

Your morning hair a pleasant teased surprise

To our audience we offer up no passion alibi’s

White rumpled sheets beneath stage light glows

Outside our window smiles the weeping willows

In mind the soft music from the strings of cellos

By your love my angry spirit quickly mellows

Lines of misty words endearing on the breeze

Scene kisses punctuated with loving squeeze

Now cue the morning bird song if you please

A sensual love scene unlocked by Cupid’s keys

Oh once romance rested on Romeo’s secret cue

A brilliant script but…if Shakespeare only knew

Entwined on stage of life how I longed for you

Our curtain calls then kiss beyond the watcher’s view…

"We'll Write the Lines" deserves full OVATION.

This is so well-written, it shows your skill with rhyme well. You really combined well theatre and love and how in both there are many acts with much still left to see and do.
