Call it Enchantment

I believe nothing could have prepared me

My empty heart lacked the rapture of love

When out of nowhere this ethereal vision

Filled my mind like stardust from above

She materialized magically to possess me

A reincarnated pure Goddess of romance

First a small potion of friendship and laughter

Then a strong dose of yearning in one glance

The words of her love charm finally sealed it

I was smitten like no man ever was before

Her delicate beauty from day one enchanted

All I could think of was her seductive allure

You know love often defies rhyme or reason

So who can say whether I'm right or wrong

When two lonely hearts reach out to each other

They always find out where they belong…

enchantment is a surreal state and love always is independent of rhyme and reason - it is an uncharted journey of the heart - I wish you love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael

Such connections are beyond our reason yet within our rhyme, Felix. We don't seek to question, we just begin by acknowledging them, then incredulously (perhaps!) accept them and then go on to finally revel in them with all our being. They are a gift like life itself. And yes, totally beguiling and comforting to the lonely heart. As always, true and totally from the heart. xx

You got completely correct Sir Romantic, there is no rhyme or reason why or with whom we fall in love. When you figure that out, you have the keys to the Universe...

Much peace, love and light,
