My souls tells a story of fairy tales,
My heart tells me fables of long ago,
Of great kings of lands, so far away,
And mountain tops, all sheathed with snow.
Oh why will this world not let me go?
"One needs the 'right' mentality,"
So says these days of reality,
"For thats the only way to see,
What this world would have you be."
"Forget your dreams of fairy tales!
Ignore your heart's longing reply!
Go off and climb rhe coorporate rails!
Do take that head from out the sky!
Your dreams will only make you slow."
"Remember war and secrecy!
Do Take your place inside the line!
Obey the laws of hypocrisy!
Your foolish dreams are a waste of time,
Ignore your heart and use your mind."
So I take my pen and begin to write,
Of hither, thither, and of yon,
I describe the days of Camelot...
For who will know when I am gone,
That there once was a soul inside this pawn?
So remember this in times of woe,
When simple pleasure humor you not,
Recall those snow-clad mountain roads,
Don't allow your dreams to be forgot.
