A Collaborative Effort from the pens of
Carole Mathys and Jon Michael Willey...

Love, In and Out of Time

Time, does it pass through our lives
or is it our lives
that pass through time

the cosmos maybe stirred by time

but we, fan love's flame along
what does it matter
which passes, time or us
of what significance is it
that our muscles weaken
vitality slowly wanes
as firmness of flesh is lost
and skin acquires lines of character
what does it matter
when strands of silver adorn your hair
and whiten mine
is it of consequence that we age
when we age together
does it matter that time passes
or we ourselves pass
our love knows
that surely you are my time
and I am yours
for in the mystery of night
our love does not die
neither is it born anew, each morn
what does it matter
that time should pass or not
for our love will endure
boldly taking the measure

of time eternal

Love...so much written about and yet so difficult of grab, like trying to old a eel with greased hands.
Those that had it, remember love with affection; those that have it, are too busy in cloud nine to tell us about.
A tender poem which smell of jasmines on a summer evening...

The magic of true love is that it knows not time, nor age, nor race, nor religion...only oneness of the heart....

Love eternal indeed. Philosophical and colorful ponderings. Perhaps time and our lives flow together in the same river.
