| Seamless, and I love the flow... just like those sulty silk stockings I am imagining that go with this! The textures you write with here are lovely - full-bloodied and senuous; fragile and concerned. An honest account, crafted with great care and sensitivity, highlighting both the seamy-side of life and the sad. And how often the two are inextricably linked. Thoughtful work, thank you. Kate xx |

Again, a superb and memorable collaboration. From the neon stars
to the tissue paper dreams, you captured it all--the grit, the loneliness, the hunger, the sad realization that the one-night
stand is all too often "a night of unrealistic hope." This, to me, is a work of art. -gene. |

"...looking for love...of tawdry passions chased in midnight's way..."
Like standing under those neon stars, taking that elusive and artificial blink that we self delude ourselves are blinking only for us, because we wish, we want, we hope for that explosive hope that's called love...

How well and delicately you describe a scene that plays over and over from lover to lover. Excellence beyond thoughts and a portrait of life worthy of preserving...

Carole and Jon,
Teeming with strong visuals and a current of sadness...the nightly rituals of hope, casual partnering, the search for love, the settling for gratification...and the sheer bleakness of it all. Congratulations! You've excelled once again.
