Carole,
Not so random to this impressed reader, the linkage is in tone, style and ether; all of them first-rate but (almost inevitably) I have a favourite
in the open window
whispering against the sill
lace curtains
that is beautiful and so evocative. Kudos!

| these free form Haikus are in depth works of art -- my favorite, though I have another that just narrowly missed, is, "endless waves of dreamers - from rigid old world ways - themselves fleeing west" --an applicable analysis over 150 years ago, and still applicable today -- peace and love my dear friend -- Jon Michael |

| A fabulous haiku-chain, Carole, with a sublime common thread... I get the sense of evening and sunset, soft winds, elongating shadows and quiet meditation. Especially the first ku is sheer brillliance. Top notch work, TY Kate xx |
