Jake,
I don't know if I'd want Buffalo to read. If he could, he'd see the mess white men have made of his land, his kind...let him live as he always has, in peace, at one with Nature and the Great Spirit. A thought provoking, well written poem.

Good thing buffalo can't read Jake! Might be they read about the Great Buffalo Jump that slung them off the cliffs to their death. Pretty much the way modern-day society runs our military men and women into the trenches of war, killing them off. Good poem!

i think they are blessed for they can't read..
they do not have to worry about the nation's crisis..
