Undiscovered Emotions - A book of Poetry.... describe the array of feelings that we all hide deep within, robbing them of their voice then silencing our pain and happiness. Ultimately those feelings recover their voice and when they speak, the message is healing and liberating and clears the way for more joyous and sheltered emotions to be revealed.
The author of this book believes that the intention of any good writers is to communicate the ideas and feelings that they hold near and dear to their heart with thought-provoking passion. Thus, he is clearly determined to inspire and connect with his readers by sharing his feelings on subjects that many people are too afraid to talk about.

Who ever listens?
By: Eustace Bellille © 2004

Who ever listens? I will tell you
Didn’t anyone ever tell you to treat people the way you would like to be treated?
Didn’t anyone ever tell you that what goes around comes right back to you?
But I am here to remind you that we are living between thin lines,
Thin lines of success and failures,
We are living between thin lines of love and hate,
We are living between thin lines of fatality and existence,
We are living between thin lines of believing and losing faith,
So where did we go wrong?
When did we start insulting each other?
Why did we stay absent from one another?
How much longer can we evade this situation?

Be humble. Be respectful. Be prayerful.
Be realistic. Be careful.
It could happen to you
To whomever listens?

Hidden secrets, unpleasant memories, all deprive from happiness,
Where did this sudden behavior come from?
Was it the time when you were raped by your uncle and stepfather
and your mother could not save you
because she died from Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV),
leaving every bone in your body to be traumatized automatically
any time disappointment comes your way?
Now what has happen to that man who’s no longer a child?

Be humble. Be respectful. Be prayerful.
Be realistic. Be careful
It could happen to you
Be humble. Be respectful.
Be prayerful. Be realistic. Be careful.
For it can be you
To whomever listen?

Tears are dripping below my chin
Cannot move my paralyzed legs to use the bathroom
Waiting for the day to forgive
The person, I once called a brother
Drunk, nameless, troubled, and refused to be helped
His addiction to drugs and alcohol lead to the death of a mother, a son, a daughter, and himself
And anytime I feel like running away from the memories that terrify my mind with the flashback of reality, the night my older brother took my freedom away
I just cannot run, pushing the wheel chair was too strenuous
The fear of looking in the mirror to see the surgical procedures that were done on my face
Wishing that I too would have died in the car crash
Diminishing the sight and the feeling of the aftermath
Ashamed to be the little brother, to be imperfect, and to be incomplete
And all I have to hold next to me, in order to fall asleep, is a bible hoping to find peace.

Be humble. Be respectful. Be prayerful. Be realistic. Be careful
It could happen to you
Be humble. Be respectful. Be prayerful. Be realistic. Be careful.
For it can be you
To whomever listens

Calamity, unsatisfactory, inferior, and still distraught
When will we find a cure?
When are we going to stop teasing others for their dysfunctional disability to comprehend?
And unfortunate illnesses
To whoever listens, we are not alone in this diverse world
My words still stand bold to let the world know
Treating people with the respect, and compassion in which you deserve is a must,
So be honest. Be prayerful. Be humble. Be realistic. Be careful
Because HIV, Breast Cancer, STD’s, Diabetes, Kidney Disease, Cardiac Arrest,
And many more ailments will cause deep pain to your family, friends and yourself.

To whomever listens
Be humble. Be respectful. Be prayerful. Be realistic. Be careful
Because it could happen to you
Be humble. Be respectful. Be prayerful. Be realistic. Be careful
For it can be you
Thank you for listening….
