Almost Lost Love

Love that can endure all time
was expressed by my Dad
when I heard him tell my Mom
of the love they'ed always had
Forever and for always
that's what your love means to me
for so long we've been together
and may it always be
our hair may have turned to silver
but our love has turned to gold
we've lived a long life together
with many memories to behold

our love could go on forever
it's in the air that we breath
on the surface of the waters
and in the soft summer breeze
forever and for always
my life with you again
I would live it over and over
if time would never end

Beautiful! This poem speaks of a utopia in marriage with such continuing love. To be loved like that would be absolutely wonderful.
