two touched and merged,
hearts beating by candlelight.
creaking springs,
breathing speeding,
seeing eaching in the other's eyes.
holding on by fingertips,
minutes and miles so chasmic,
fear.
wrapped in phone wires,
whispering passion into plastic,
strangling.
lonely! one weeps, lets go,
is alone.
realized love, lost, now alone.
over! the other cries, too far! too late!
no more!
love has found a more convenient address.
one torn in two
halves move in darkness, dazed.
healing must begin
but memories keep each caged.
