L., I liked this the words flowed so easily into form.
"Silent Hunter" is quite befitting to such a mysterious bird and yet a bird that seems so wise as they say. I have had the opportunity to observe an owl up close as a matter of fact it did not seem the least bit worried about my observance. I was baffled as it sat there on the fence allowing me to onlook.
Wonderful penning of such the "Silent Hunter"
Thank you and take care,
Gwendolyn

This is so true, our only protection is our inner vision and our conscience, sadly this is our second nature, if we were owls it would be our first as it should be.
Excellent, Pierre |

The owls have it! Honing one's inner vision is a lifetime task well worth the effort. Wonderful write, LG.

Linda,
This poem has the atmosphere of wisdom, the bird traditionally as canny and observant but beyond that as a guiding spirit, a guru, a raiser of consciousness, and all conveyed in such a positive style and tone.

Owls truly are magnificent creatures, and I really like your poem. And now, you have me convinced that my Night Caller was trying to tell me something. Love that graphic, too. |
