Linda,
"The fault is mine" - what a line! And that's just one of many excellent lines and devices in this wonderful poem, up there with the very best. This is such a satisfying experience in every way.

This is one of my favorites of yours. Exquisite writing, indeed. I particularly love:
"The fault is mine Earth cracks
and a need long diffused flows
from the fissures and here in liquid
I bubble and burst as pressured plates
shift
and move me
to desire..."

Descriptive images come to life beneath your lines and words...could be taken for symbology of life and love or as just simple poetry of nature but either way it is stunning.

Those that have witness by night the flow of lava moving to the sea in Hawaii will remember the hot air, the pungent scent, the red and yellow hues slithering among dark grays and coal blacks.
We, once, were part of it.
