Sun and Moon, 26 June

Slivered moon is waxing crescent
Thirty eight percent illumination eclipsed by dark sun
Thoughts run on Mercury track in a black train
Hard to stop the momentum so
jumping off at the exit to explore inner landscapes
Fueled up with stardust, interplanetary waste-
the wisdom from a billion light years

I’ll fill this slipper and absorb the carbon, dated
but no expiration, strains of “Rocket Man” in my head
Its lonely out in space, but this is a voyage I take alone
Venus out my window is a distant sun
But there are many suns, some with multiple moons
Slivered moon is waxing crescent, negligible illumination
Thoughts run on silver Mercury

Hi L., This sounds like a midlife crisis, or menopause, going through negligible illumination and filled with interplanetary waste... wish it would move faster, so I don't have to go through it, if I have to go alone. L, this write is very dynamic and can have more meaning than just the obvious. Thank you for sharing...

I told you not to eat a big meal so close to bedtime....

I love the zany approach of this. It has many levels, all of them quite a ride.
