USA Democracy in tears. News blackouts.

with HR 1955

who can speak
before too late?

............

HR 1955 is a United States House of representatives bill that would destroy
freedom of speech as we now know and practice it in America, the beautiful.

Although this is an domestic issue at present, I post it here because
writers everywhere face these issues daily.

Writers think better than average, can write better than average and are
usually moved to speak out against injustice.

Here in America where we bomb nations daily to give them Democracy, God's gift,
we are unable to keep democracy for ourselves.

Since this Bill, HR 1955 passed I have searched every day for news and stories
on HR 1955 at both the New York Times and the Washington Post, our two leading
national newspapers. Every search has come up, "no results."

I have a Google Alert daily for HR 1955 and I get many blogs and internet references. Today, I even got a reference to an article "A tutorial in "Orwellian Newspeak" from Aljazeera.com.

Because this news is blacked out in USA, but OK in Middle East, I repost it here.

"Anticipate the views that group the world!
Newspeak?
WelI, I would much rather see an artist, creatively portraying a new reach, where
People could love each other. . .
People could be beautiful!
People could be kind, and good. . ."

Your poem reminded me of "Enter The New Eden" A poem I wrote last month regarding your views...
Enjoyed!
Love and Peace~
