The poetry is explanatory. For years I was terrified of all dogs- size didn't matter.I was attacked by stray dogs several times. I must've had an invisible sign that screamed -attack me- Anyway, in a million years I never thought I would ever own one, a dog that is, but I now do. Aah, friends truth is stranger than fiction.
Pepsi is my puppy; he’s just as cute as he coud be He’s such a playful Bichon-Poo…miniature and fluffy He weighs in at eleven pounds and means the world to me Scampering around from room to room… Oh what a playful puppy! He follows me around the house much to my delight, Pepsi keeps me entertained- morning, noon, and night. This pup is never tired; he has so much energy Dragging his toy around the house entertaining everybody. Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! He does flips to get my attention Fun and games, hide and go seek are Pepsi’s only mission He’ll drop his chew-toy by my feet to see what I would do And sit and slyly look at me like he doesn’t have a clue And when I try to take the toy he’ll place his little paw Right on top the chew-toy so I can’t toss it out the door He’ll do this a few times just to relax and catch his breath And soon he’d be running around again working up a sweat Come here Pepsi; come here boy And he jumps up in my arms And snuggles close to my loving heart where he knows he is safe from all harm This little ball of energy that I fondly call Pepsi Has a special place in my heart; oh yes, he loves me unconditionally. And after he has all that fun running around with his toy Once again Pepsi will settle down and start acting cute and coy Oh my little Bichon-Poo I do love you so, You brought me lots of happiness this I want you to know.
How is little Pepsi? Such a loving home you have given him and toys to play with besides. And tender love and care and Pepsi brings you lots of happiness. Dogs are mans best friend you know.
Here is a special tip from someone who has been a door to door sales representative and also a census enumerator. The vast majority of dogs are not killers. Even those who bark hysterically make good pets for someone. The best thing to do in the presence of an average dog who thinks that he/she has potential as a killer is to ignore the dog. This is easier said than done, but it works. Do not look at their eyes and do show a teeth bearing smile. The dog thinks that it is a threat. Throw something at the dog. Pick up an invisible rock and pretend to throw it like you mean business, but still never look at the dog's eyes. The dog will continue to bark until it finally has to give up. Keep minding your own business as if you own as much of the sidewalk as the dog does. After all you probably do own as much of the sidewalk as the dog. Oh by the way, I am glad that you got over your fear and got a prize. God bless you and Pepsi.
This is adorable...Looks like I should find me a pepsi! I have been dealing with the fear of dogs all my life! I really don't know why? I know the feeling when you say they can sense your fear...
nice to meet you, Pamela~
Love and Peace~
