Wisdom can flow when we refuse to tell or believe lies.

Let Wisdom Flow

The time had come for all of us to go
And face each other at the mountain's floor.
With blinders on we claimed we did not know
The reasons we all had gathered for.
It was a chance for all of us to grow
And let wisdom flow, let wisdom flow.

For a while it seemed the past was but a glow
Of raging fires that had scorched and seared our minds.
It seemed beyond our ability to know
The truth of all that we had left behind.
And where to start when we've forgotten how to show
How wisdom flows, how wisdom flows?

But from the depths our hearts began to see
What no veneer of lies can forever hide:
The reason we'd quit fighting to be free,
Our lifetime dreams being swallowed by the tide.
How hard indeed it was to let go
And let wisdom flow, let wisdom flow?

A man is prisoner partly by his choice
To falsehoods he too willingly believes.
But if he'll fight he can overcome that voice
His strengthened heart no more can be deceived.
And awakened by his true desire to know
His wisdom can flow. His wisdom can flow.

Question those who claim to own your heart!
Oppose the idea forced upon your brain!
Fight the flaw that won't let you do your part!
Unbend the bending that causes such great pain!
Cross the wicked ones who bring you woe
And let wisdom flow, my friends, let wisdom flow!

Wisdom is sadly lacking among those whom we allow to govern in this world. I don't know why but it's been like that for a mighty long time. Thank you for this offering, Ron. Love and peace to you. Regis

I wonder if I will ever let wisdom flow.
