THE FIX

This is about a friend I know who went down the wrong path and started dealing drugs.

A knock on the door
Outside
Someone wants more
Willing to give
Life, blood, body, soul
Money means nothing
Desire
For the temporary
"FIX"
You have what I think I need
And it makes it all
ALRIGHT
How did I get into this mess?
Like feeding vampires their blood
This knock comes at all hours
Some putting this stuff into their nose
Some have no fear of injecting it
Right into the core of their being
And I do not really have a rhyme for that
Just such a mess
When they miss
The blood spewing like a gusher
When the amateurs try to play with the Pros
Just give me my money
Get the hell out of my bathroom
And get the hell out of here
They always come back for more

My Secret Obsession

It hurts to think about this bondage of body and soul. You have penned it raw and real Blue.

A stark, dark, and very real picture of a very sad and destructive way of life. Thank you, Blue. Love and best wishes to you,

Regis
