A late Thanksgiving wish! I wrote this poem for Thanksgiving day and read it before we ate dinner.

We humbley bow our heads in prayer,
on this Thanksgiving day.
We lift our hearts in thanks,
for all Gods caring ways.

You have blessed this table Lord,
and let us remember too,
that we should share with others,
as you would have us do.

Around this food filled table,
are those we hold most dear,
and in our presence Lord,
you seem so very near.

We are thankful for,
this land we love,
for earth, sky and sea,
and for the Pilgrims who
crossed unknown seas, so they
could worship and be free.

We're thankful for each blessing
that you send,
as we go alomg lifes way,
and we are glad to be together
on this special Thanksgiving day.
