I have never translated a poem before but here it is in english .

Certain things on this earth

Are to appreciated for all its worth

a person as you

In the light of your eyes

And all the communication

Shared between you and I

Has shown me

Strong conviction for truth ,

In a soldiers body is a tendernes with no lies

No disguise

I speak of you!

The mind should not even try to attain

Why lies here will remain;

Only the heart can make sense of something so simple

Only the centre of all emotions can feel

Something so clear and so right

Always sincere

Something uncomplicated and real!

Friendships are the greatest gift

Because you know how I speak

I run with this,

Since my youth I have heard

That all love is born of nothing

And of a nothing it dies;

I hope to see you on the coast of paradise

The least of you would be the most!

What I feel for you is pure

an exchange so unique

Proper but un-ruled and this I hope to share with you

One night in the flesh

Forget the sex

The embrace , the mature idiom

The naked contact

Would be the max,

The way itís been

Rhythmic and unplanned

Face to face

Mine will be the pleasure

Our time I will not measure

And whatever you decide on the island of our parents pride

I will treasure it forever inside;

til you are by my side

No ends

Thank you Richard. Your poem is full of emotions.
I empathise with you. Translating poetry is not easy, it can be emotionally and physically draining. I am interpreting my poetry book from English to Polish.
Congratulations and keep on going.
