I Traveled across the sands of the desert

through arid conditions hostile weather;

I adapted to the ranges and all the changes

The familiar and the strangest

I endured all and made it through

The sun beaming on my brow

And I pressed on harder

Still unsure how

Nearing the final days

I saw mirages of your perfect face and dreamed

Of what I would feel wrapped in your

perfect embrace

or maybe it was your Strength pulling through

Closer to you

To finally unite in our perfect place;

The mind impulsive , impatient

Never waits;

I traveled across the seas

All seven

Across the frozen blue so cold I thought I’d freeze

Then to The tropical crystal blue among the manatees

Searching for you

Where could you be?

I traveled all the earth and everyplace

I SWORE YOU were

Upon returning home

On my way

So depressed and never had I ever felt so alone;

Close to home on a popular street

A stranger approached

He said hello and I all the while looking down

Said hi like a child

He Asked if I was ok

I never looked up

I said there is no way

And again the voice gentle poised

When he spoke drowned out all the noise

HE SAID

You seem to me to be someone I know

Stretched out his hand and,….

Had not yet finished the sentenced

When

I lifted my gaze to meet his eyes

Instantly I realized;

I looked and met his smile

I shouted in my mind

I have been everywhere searching for you

He replied I have been along side you

All the time;

Hopes is never lost!
