A mother's love for her child is unmeasurable.

A word does not exist
to describe
how wonderful you are.
A song has not been written
to match your uniqueness.

It is said that there exists
at least one person
in this world who
could be our twin.
But, you….
oh no
it could not be so.

Your skin is
so perfect,
your eyes mesmerize me.
You consume me with
your loveliness,
your smile,
your laugh
your curiosity for
your surroundings.

You belong to me
and my heart I feel
will explode
from the joy.

I don’t ever want
to hurt you,
fail you and
I cannot imagine
life without your existence.

Nothing is more
important to me
than you
having
the best
life has to offer.

Nothing is too good
for you or worthy of
your magnificence
my dear, precious son.

This is a very beautiful poem Mary.Trust me when I say but the exact same way that you feel about your son is the exact same way that my mother feels about me.A mother's love is so precious and sweet. In your poem, when you said that you don't want to ever hurt him and fail him, that shows me how much of a great parent you truly are.Every parent wants their children to look up to them.I enjoy this poem, take care
