* When I fish I can't say NOTHING -exists... I want too, but Poetry exists... Inspiration of the finest kind, revolves in the water, earth and sky.... *( I like that) :)

Cast the Line

To cast the line
creates a swerved design
in my fishing pole
soon you learn to troll
------>
Let out the reel
with a backwards zeal
the glisten on the cool clear ocean water makes it surreal
soon what was an ordeal becomes ideal
------>
Casting my line
in the glorious sunshine
my spirit becomes perfectly aligned
as my notepad I then find
------>
As I jot down a line or two
my tip moving downwards
comes into full view
this challenge I begin to pursue
------>
Drop down my book
as I set the hook
into the mouth this fish took
as I gather my leverage to take a good look
------>
On a "holy" Sunday like today
I must convey
as I stare at my gigantic buffet
this is a blessed day nothing can get in my way.
